Michael Ray King 300dpiDefining moments happen when you step up and set plans in motion. Tuesday night’s Inspired Mic stands as no exception to this notion. Thirteen presenters strolled to the microphone and entertained a receptive audience on a blustery evening.

The newly created Inspired Mic Team was announced, consisting of Executive Producer Renny Roker, Executive Director of Marketing and Promotion Daniela Behler, Project Manager Michele Catalano, and Founder/Host Michael Ray King. The Inspired Mic continues to progress in its efforts to encourage creative people to present their work to the world, to learn to market and promote themselves, and to venture to their “next step” in their creative evolutions.

Leading off, Cyndi Rose (www.cyndi-rose.com) brought her wisdom and motivational writing back to The Inspired Mic. With catch-phrases like “prove your existence” and “find your approximate determination of chaos…” Cyndi delivered a heady, motivational presentation to pursue your best.

January is upon us and the  Inspired Mic returns to Leroy’s 19th Hole, the Country Club restaurant and bar for the Cypress Knoll Golf Course in Palm Coast. In the coming two weeks this site will display the presenters who will be on stage on January 20th. One of the beauties of Leroy’s 19th Hole is we have a capacity of nearly 100. In December, more than 60 people showed up for the event! We are excited about our growth and the community’s interest in local talent. Please check back each day for a little insight into our Inspired Mic Event presenters!

…I exchanged some views the other day with a fellow scribbler about the merits of maintaining a Blog… at the last count, there’s about a trillion, gazillion, squillion blogs swirling around in the internet ether… my discussee kinda wondered, ‘why bother doing one when there are so many already out there?’… well, I s’pose it boils down to yer own personal objectives… this ol’ Jurassic started doing one on the advice of many respected comrades-in-ink, who averred that ev’ry scribe WURTH her or his laptop-tapping salt needs to be present on the SOSYAL NETWURKS… whatever the truth or otherwise of that advice, I did begin to produce my blog, a mere two and half years ago… at the time, it made sense to me to try to broaden my ‘reader reach’, but since then, the blog has evolved into a creature with more elements than a chemistry…
